Tracey Connor

Producer

Story Development

Editor

Tracey Connor's passion for great storytelling began nearly 20 years ago when she was given the opportunity, as a television reporter for a CBS affiliate, to cover the human interest side of life.   Examining and relating the 'what', 'where', 'when' and 'how' quickly became her focus.  But, it was a Holocaust survivor's story that made clear what she had always known…there are just some stories that need to be told, if for nothing else, than for the generations who follow to have heard it and the only way to tell them properly is with the utmost care and sensitivity.  Thus, became Tracey's mantra over all her years of producing, editing and researching over 100 hours of television for the likes of History, A&E, PBS & Discovery.

Story Development

Shelley Steagall is a journalist from the tips of her toes to top of her head.   Her love of storytelling, research and fact finding can be traced back to her "inquisitive, question everything" grammar school days right through her high school journalism classes.  After college, she spent years in the profession working her way up to producer for CBS and FOX affiliates producing daily newscasts and a wide array of specialty programming from sports to community affairs.  But it would be the stories of bravery, strength and survival Shelley worked on as a daytime talk show producer at ABC that gave her career focus.   Her show, The Most Crippling Condition on the life-changing effects of Arthritis would win the prestigious Russell L.
